Linda Chao, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Chao obtained her BS in Biological Science from the University of California, Davis in 1991, and she completed her PhD studies in Neuroscience from UCD in 1996. For the past 11-years, she has served as leader for the Psychiatry Block of the Interdepartmental Studies course 104, Brain, Mind and Behavior for first-year medical students.

Margaret A. Chesney is a Professor of Medicine at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Health, and in the Division of Prevention Science at UCSF. From 2010 to 2015, she served as the director of the UCSF Osher Center, with its three core programs in integrative medicine research, education and patient care. These programs emphasize the integration of modern medicine with lifestyle and complementary approaches to promote health, wellness and healing.

Julene K Johnson, PhD is a Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience in the UCSF Division of Geriatrics (School of Medicine). She is the Principal Investigator of the NIH/NIA U24 "Music & Dementia Research Network" and is a co-principal investigator for the National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded AccelNet for Music, Movement, and Brain. She also leads the Meredith Willson Pilot Research Program for Music and Health Research, which awards pilot grants for music and health research across the lifespan.
